Zita West's Vitafem is a pre-pregnancy multivitamin and mineral capsule with antioxidents and CoQ10.

Many factors influence your chances of conception, including age, general health and stress levels, as well as sperm and egg quality. The more you are in balance in mind, body and spirit, the greater your chance of conception and the healthier your baby is likely to be.

In an ideal world this balance happens naturally. However, inadequate diet, intensive food production and processing and the demands of job, travel and family, can mean that our nutritional needs are not met adequately.

Zita West recommends women increase their intake of important nutrients during the pre-conception phase, if only as an insurance policy.

Vitafem is a premium multi-vitamin and multi-mineral supplement specially developed to help maximise fertility, redress nutritional imbalances and prepare the body for conception.

Dosage is one capsule three times a day with or after food. The capsules are vegetarian and can be taken by both vegetarians and vegans. Vitafem is free from artificial colours, preservatives and gluten and is certified non-GM.

Do I need to take extra folic acid if I am taking Vitafem?
NO, the RDA for folic acid is 400mcg. Three capsules of Vitafem a day provides that amount.

Can I carry on taking Vitafem if I am pregnant?
YES, however, it is better to move on to to the Vital Essence range which has been especially formulated for your body’s changing needs during each trimester of pregnancy.
