Babystart Ovulation Test (5 Midstream Tests) Babystart Ovulation Test (5 Midstream Tests)

The babystart Midstream Ovulation Test works in a similar way to a pregnancy test. The test provides an accurate way of detecting the most fertile days of your menstrual cycle. Most couples now plan pregnancy carefully and know that the best chances of conception occur around the time of ovulation. Women ovulate once during each menstrual cycle and this is trigged by a release of Luteinising Hormone (LH surge). Research has shown that women are at their most fertile for about 48 hours after the LH surge.

The test works by measuring levels of Luteinising Hormone (LH) in the urine, because this is the hormone that triggers ovulation. During a normal menstrual cycle, the level of LH will suddenly increase or surge at about the middle of the cycle, just before ovulation occurs - this will indicate the time when you are most likely to conceive.

This babystart Midstream Ovulation Test contains 5 tests so you can use it over a series of days. Fiull instruction are inclyded with these midstream tests.
